It’s time to take pause, become a lover of all that is good and give thanks for it. Stop, enjoy and even have some cake!

Take a trip with me to a place that is uplifting and beautiful, the outdoors. Experience it. Touch it. Feast your eyes upon it. My work is an expression that moves my heart. If it’s not coming from my heart, it’s not worth painting. The freedom of colors chasing each other in the clouds and the dances of wildflowers on a breezy day are exhilarating and refreshing. There are times when an emotion wells up in me and I impulsively slash my brush across the canvas. Other times I become melancholy which requires slow and thoughtful strokes. It takes me into a world where marks on canvas turn minutes into hours. My hope is that it speaks to you. I love the freedom and process of painting, the movement, the color, the emotion. What I love most, however, is when it’s time to move it along, give you a quick glance or a place to rest, and a smile.
